In the year 2020, the new licensing and pricing policy of Eocortex IP Camera Software came into force in accordance with the prior notifications. First of all, the subsequent modifications concern the content of the licenses and the procedure of their sales.
The new Eocortex policy is aimed at facilitating the creation of video surveillance and security systems of any range. Our permanent packaged offers will become a compelling solution for our partners.
Starting from January 2020, the Eocortex ML licenses are sold in the batches of 5 only. This allowed to reduce the cost of a license for one channel. The procedure of sales of the LS and ST licenses has not changed.
The price of the intelligent modules has changed, too. For example, the Audio Stream Processing module and the PTZ Camera Control module are now free with any of the chosen licenses. Thus, it has become very easy to create a scalable video surveillance system with the video analysis modules.
The price of the ST licenses increased 10%. It is compensated, however, by the addition of the free PTZ Camera Control and Audio Stream Processing modules.
The prices of the Eocortex intelligent modules have decreased dramatically. For example, the Fisheye Dewarping module became 85% less expensive, the Heat Map module’s price was reduced 56%, and the Shelf Fullness Check module is now 56% more accessible.
It is worth mentioning that the majority of the intelligent modules are provided free of any additional charge with the Eocortex Ultra license that costs just 10% more in 2020.
