Eocortex, a developer of professional video surveillance software, is getting ready to release version 3.4 and unveils its novelties.
In the new version, it will be possible to sign the exported video archive and screenshots with a computer-generated signature. It allows to confirm authenticity and authorship of relevant files. This feature complies with the requirements of the GDPR.
It will be possible to sign real-time and archived video and screenshots being exported. The computer-generated signature is created using X509 certificates with the asymmetric encryption algorithm RSA.
The signed file can be checked with the Eocortex Player software: the system will inform you of a successful test, file modification or untrusted certificate.
This new feature will be available in the main version of Eocortex 3.4 that will be released in July 2021.
