Eocortex software is used to build a large-scale video surveillance system at the number of Ozersk social facilities.
Ozyorsk or Ozersk is a closed town in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. Population: 82,164 (2010 Census). It was founded on the shore of the Irtyash Lake in 1945. Until 1994, it was known as Chelyabinsk-65, and even earlier, as Chelyabinsk-40 (the digits are the last digits of the postal code, and the name is that of the nearest big city; which was a common practice of giving names to closed towns). In 1994, it was granted town status and renamed Ozyorsk.
The video surveillance system has been implemented as part of the federal counterterrorism program. More than 200 IP cameras have been installed at nine sites, including schools, kindergartens, sports facilities and construction company. The system is used for solving security tasks, ensuring the security of the city residents, crime prevention and investigation of difficult cases. Sabotage detection module is provided with Eocortex license absolutely free of charge. Sabotage detection module allows to reveal camera defocusing, panning away from pre-defined view, illumination and overlapping, which is particularly relevant for the public place surveillance.
