Our history
In 2008, the company Eocortex was founded, based on two scientific ideas that make it possible to solve the problem of analyzing huge amounts of data recorded by surveillance cameras.
In 2009, the company attracted venture investment of Allianz Investments.
In 2011, the License Plate Recognition module was added to the interactive search module developed earlier.
Since 2012, the Eocortex-based systems can be operated via any browser. New integrations have allowed to unify the Eocortex-based IP video surveillance and the full-scale audio registering software into one security system, monitor cash transaction, control access to facilities, export video archives without their conversion, and many more.
in 2013, the company started its international expansion. Slovakia became the first country where Eocortex solution was implemented.
In 2014, the Allianz Investments venture fund leaves the capital stock of the company. The yield of the fund was of the record-breaking 1000%.
The overseas sales of the software started to give 10% of the company´s revenue. In the same year, Eocortex was included in the trio of the fastest-growing enterprises according to the TekhUspekh national ranking of fast-evolving high-technology companies.
The Cross-Camera Tracking by Eocortex was awarded the All-Over-IP 2016 award. The new version of the software contains 11 new features. The special Ultra version for large-scale video surveillance systems was released simultaneously.
In 2018, the company kept expanding. Now Eocortex software is used in 50 countries of the world.
In 2019, the number of Eocortex intelligent modules reached twenty. Every module is used to solve a wide range of industrial tasks in the universities, banks, high security facilities, atomic power plants, shopping centers and stores, etc.
In the year 2020 Eocortex introduced Eva, the first virtual assistant in the video surveillance industry. The voice assistant helps the user to tackle certain tasks without using the computer monitor or watching the video. Eocortex software is in high demand in more than 85 countries around the world.
