The video surveillance system of the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego consists of 110 SeeCom cameras installed at 3 servers, Eocortex software and Intelligent modules.
This system is aimed to maintain the university's sport facilities secure, protect students and academics, investigate crime/vandalism and monitor parking lots. With Eocortex ST version, security officers are now able to monitor the video streams remotely from 6 workstations.
License Plate recognition module helps to automatically recognize and record license plates that enter the University's parking area, search for the recognized license plates in the archive by time, date and details from a database, export the list of recognized license plates in Microsoft Excel or CSV formats. Barrier control is available as well.
Suspect search and Suspect tracking modules significantly speed up and simplify object searches in the archive, and, in general, making the crime investigation process much easier. Apart from other things, these modules allow the to ensure, that University policies are properly followed.
Located in Poznan, Poland, Akademia Wychowania Fizycznegoim (Academy of Physical Education of Poznan) is a public higher education institution founded in 1919. It is the oldest school of physical education in Poland and one of the oldest schools in Europe. Nowadays, the University School of Physical Education has around 3,500 students and around 350 academics. The main areas of study include physical education, sports, physiotherapy, tourism and recreation. The university is equipped with modern teaching and sports facilities such as indoor swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, fitness club, the multifunctional hall for sports games and stadium with artificial turf. The University is also famous for its research on the natural and humanistic foundations of physical culture and rehabilitation.
