Starting from version 3.3, the Eocortex software supports video analytics built into certain models of IP cameras.
Today, the majority of IP cameras is equipped with built-in video analytics allowing to reduce the computing resources used by the system server. Moreover, some projects require special video analysis features that are not present in Eocortex, for example, temperature exceedance monitoring.
The following features built into the cameras are supported by Eocortex 3.3:
- Temperature exceedance monitoring (Hikvision, Dahua, Mobotix, FLIR);
- Crossing of a line (Hikvision);
- License plate recognition (Hikvision).
The feature of the camera built-in video analytics support is licensed on a per channel basis. It is included by default into the ULTRA version, and has to be paid for separately in LS, ST and Enterprise versions of the Eocortex software.
