Angle of view is the angle between the extreme opposite points of the image with the apex in the main focus of the optical system. The viewing angle of the camera depends on the type, size and focal length of the lens, as well as on the size of the matrix (sensor).
The viewing angle of the camera increases with increasing the matrix size and decreases with increasing the focal length.
It is customary to distinguish camera angles horizontally and vertically. Sometimes the diagonal viewing angle is also specified.
