In digital video, Frame is the part of the data stream in which a separate static image is encoded, which in turn is an integral part of the displayed video sequence. At the same time, depending on the video codec used, either a full image can be encoded in the frame (as a rule, in a compressed form) or only its differences from the previous frame.
