HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an interface for high definition multimedia that allows to broadcast HD digital video data and multichannel digital audio signals.
The HDMI plug supports digital DVI connections of several devices via a corresponding cable. The main difference between HDMI and DVI is that HDMI plug is smaller and DVI does not support audio signals.
