Many manufacturers offer thermal cameras equipped with the precise temperature detectors that can be effectively used for monitoring health status of a large number of people who simultaneously appear in the field of view of the thermal camera. This feature is especially useful as a means of preventing the propagation of COVID-19.
The temperature measurement accuracy of various thermal cameras differs, but several manufacturers claim that the maximum permissible tolerance of their equipment is less than 0,5-1%, allowing to consider such thermal cameras to be the efficient temperature monitoring tools.
